Stonecrest Mall is a great mall to visit if you are visiting the East side of Atlanta.
It is conveniently located close to Stone Mountain.
This also happens to be the mall that is closest to my own home.
So, I spend a lot of time here.
If you want to grab a bite to eat I would recommend that you stop by the food court.
The food court at the Stonecrest mall is open, and well-lit.
The ceiling is high, and one of the coolest things is that they have minature tables for 2-5 year olds.
Some of the eateries inside the mall at Stonecrest are Chick-Fil-A, Bourbon Chicken, Great Wraps, and Max Orient, just to name a few.
Oh, yeah, and the Great American Cookie Co. is also on the corner. Their cookies are awesome. They are always soft and fresh.
My personal favorite is oatmeal raisin, but my kids would say chocolate chip or the basic sugar cookie is the best. What's your favorite cookie?
I have noticed that many malls are starting to cater to the pleasure factor more. And, Stonecrest Mall is definitely aiming to please.
If your bones are aching, but you weren't able to get in at the spa, then just head over and get a massage while you are shopping.
These guys looked like they definitely knew what they were doing.
I also have seen at least three eyebrow arching/waxing in Stonecrest Mall, however one place in particular has caught my eye.
And, that place is called Brow Art 23.
What first attracted me was the creative sign.
Well, what makes Brow Art 23 unique is that they use a technique called threading to remove the hair from the eyebrow.
This technique originated in India, and is widely practiced in the Middle East.
So, stop by and experience their wide range of beauty and skin care services.
Another great thing about the Stonecrest mall is that there is a quick photography studio located inside.
Hollywood Shots is the place to go if you want to do family photos, or individual photos.
They offer affordable prices and a nice selection of backgrounds to choose from.
If I remember correctly the pictures come back with a glossy finish not a matte finish.
So, if you are intown visiting and want to get some pictures with family and friends stop by Hollywood Shots.
You will usually get your pictures back within the hour.
Now, it is time to burn some energy and mess up your clothes a bit.
Check out the Bungy Bounce. You can flip, and jump, and twist. All in doors.
And, you will probably get a serious wedgy in the process.
If you get enough momentum going you can do multiple back and front flips.
Give it a try.
Stonecrest Mall has a variety of shoe and clothing stores.
One shoe store that I love to go to is Underground Station.
It is something about their presentation that draws me in.
There are also many children's apparel shops inside of the Mall at Stonecrest.
These are Unica, The Children's Palace, Justice, and Kids World.
And, it seems as if malls are just a kids paradise now. There are more things in the mall for kids than adults.
One thing in particular is Build-A-Bear Workshop. Now, if you have never been in here then you must go.
You go in pick a bear, stuff it with cotton, wash it, dress it, give it a name and then you are able to print a birth certficate and take the bear home.
It is a unique experience.
There really is so much to do here.
Now, don't forget to stop by Things Remembered to pick up that gift from the heart for that special someone.
Things Remembered also does inscriptions.
You can also watch a movie at the Mall at Stonecrest theatre.
It is conveniently located near the food court.
So, eat up before you go, so you don't end up spending all your money on popcorn and soda.
Also, if you arrive at the theatre before 12 pm it is matinee. And, the cost is only $5.
